The Central Electric Cooperative School was closed on September 16, 2021, but reopened in December of that year.
The school was originally closed on November 5, 2020, but reopening on March 7, 2021.
The first two students enrolled in the school were born in October of that same year.
As the school closed, the program was closed for the duration of the Great Depression.
It reopened in February of 2021.
In 2017, the school reopened with new students, but due to financial constraints the program remained closed for most of 2017.
However, the center reopened with students in June of 2018, and reopened in 2019.
