With a new partnership between Coopers and Everett Cooper Bank, Coopers Landing apartments is set to go live on April 3, 2017.
Coopers is a subsidiary of the coopers banking group, and the Everett Cooper Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of coopers.
The Everett Cooper brand is synonymous with the Coopers brand, and this new venture will mark the first of a number of cooper-branded apartments.
In a statement to Fortune, coopers said: “Everett Cooper Bank has been the home of the Copps Group for more than 100 years.
We look forward to working with Coopers to further our mission to empower and connect our customers.”
The Copps group will continue to offer financial services through a new company called Financial Solutions Inc. The financial services arm of Coopers Group, the Copps Group will also become the financial services division of the new company, with a total of five financial services businesses to be created in partnership with Copps Bank, which also owns and operates the Cooper bank.
Financial Solutions will provide financial services for the Coppers properties, and a new financial advisory service will be available.
“Coopers Landing is the latest in a series of investments by Copps, and we are excited to welcome them to our family of co-branded properties,” said Ken Grossman, the co-founder and CEO of Copps.
“We’re excited to bring our brand of quality service to the community and look forward the next chapter of the partnership.”
The new financial services operations will be run by Coppss Group’s former head of finance, Kevin C. Guglielmi, who is also a Copps executive.
The new Copps properties will be owned by the Coppo group of companies, which has operated as a holding company since 2013.
In July, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
“Evancopps Landing is an exciting and significant opportunity for Copps,” said Mike Guglia, chairman and CEO, Copps Holdings.
It’s an exciting time to be part of the world-class company that has grown over the past decade and will continue for decades to come.”
