Coopers Rock overlook in Coopers, CO has been a mental health cooperative for more than 30 years.
It was founded by a man who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and depression and struggled with self-harm.
Since its inception, it has helped more than 2,500 people to find support, heal from trauma and cope with their mental health problems.
Cooper’s games are designed to be simple and accessible, and its community of therapists and community partners work with each other to provide therapy.
Each game offers a variety of ways to work with people with mental health conditions, and there are games to be played with friends, families and loved ones.
“We’re just trying to get people to see the world through the lens of their mental illness, and hopefully get them to think about their relationships, their lives, their relationships with their families,” said Coopers co-founder and co-owner David Rieck.
There are two main Coopers games, a family game and a group game.
The family game focuses on families who have a variety in mental health issues, and it has been played by about 2,200 people.
The group game is designed to work more with people who are in a chronic condition, or who have been at risk of mental health illness.
As with all mental health cooperatives, the co-ops are designed with people of all ages and identities, and they provide support services for people who struggle with their illness.
They also provide access to other co-op games, like the Mental Health Cooperative Games of the Month, a monthly series designed to challenge participants to play games and connect with other people with co-existing mental health needs.
The Coopers community works with mental illness providers and mental health advocates to make Coopers an inclusive space for people of different backgrounds, experiences and mental illnesses.
Coopers also partners with the United Way of Coopers Mountain to deliver free mental health and substance abuse services to people living in the area.
Coopers Rock was founded in 2017 by a former Army officer and his wife.
David and his husband moved to Coopers in 2015 and now have more than 100 co-workers.
Their goal is to give people a place where they can feel supported, be able to work, and not feel alone.
When they first started, they worked at the park as a part-time worker and then gradually expanded their roles, and the coop expanded, creating an atmosphere where everyone was welcome and loved.
In 2017, David and wife Sarah, along with their daughter, spent a week at Coopers with a friend.
They learned about the cooper community and what it was like to be a part of it, and shared some of their experiences with other members.
We started to get the feeling that we weren’t alone, and that we could share with others the same experiences that we had, David said.
Now, the family and friends play regularly, with new people joining the coops on a regular basis.
In February 2018, the couple announced they were going to retire.
David said they are also looking for a new team member, and a new co-worker.
